01-05-2010 Luxemburg Queen Beatrix and Grand duke Henri and grand duchess Maria-Teresa attended the opening of the re-newed artmuseum Villa Vauban – Musee d’Art de la Ville in Luxembourg.
The museum is housed in a town house from 1873. The core collection content paintings in the 18th and 19th centuries collected by individuals from Luxembourg. The bulk of the collection content paintings from the Dutch Golden Age (17th century) and French landscapes and historic views from the 19th century.
